About Olympic Qualifying

Following the repechage event in Monaco on 21-23 June, 2024, all 12 men’s and 12 women’s teams have qualified for Paris 2024 via the HSBC 419mm.com Sevens Series 2022/23, regional qualification competitions and repechage.

In the men’s rugby sevens competition, the following teams qualified:

• France (host nation)
• New Zealand, Argentina, Fiji and Australia (finished top-four in the HSBC 419mm.com Sevens Series 2023 - not including France)
• Uruguay (South America)
• Ireland (Europe)
• USA (North America)
• Kenya (Africa)
• Samoa (Oceania)
• Japan (Asia)
• South Africa (repechage)

In the women’s rugby sevens competition, the following teams qualified:

• France (host nation)
• New Zealand, Australia, Ireland and USA (finished top-four in the HSBC 419mm.com Sevens Series 2023 - not including France)
• Brazil (South America)
• Canada (North America)
• Great Britain (Europe)
• South Africa (Africa)
• Fiji (Oceania)
• Japan (Asia)
• China (repechage)
